Benefits, Well it depends are you talking about self gratification or money? Money wise depends what area you are working in and if you specialize in a certain area. Also if you have a associate degree apposed to a bachelor degree. With the Bachelor degree you are able to become a charge nurse eventually if that is what you are interested in. As far as self gratification you are helping others so only you would know if that would be self satisfying or not. I hope this helps. Great question however when asking these types of questions please be more specific in what you are wanting to know.

Hi Lily. I've got a few suggestions for you to help you get good answers: (1) Tell us more about yourself so the nurses here can create a little more of a picture of what you're all about so they can give you a really good recommendation (e.g., are you in high school? Where did you get the idea of being a nurse? Is there anything specific about nursing that you THINK you might enjoy, to get the nurses started?). (2) You should try to use a real first name for your account, if you can. Real nurses want to give advice to real kids! Not "randomgirl3000" :) But you don't need to use a real last name if you don't want. You can just use an initial, or a fake last name. It's important to keep your identity safe on the internet. If you're not allowed to put a real first name (by a parent or teacher, for example), then it's not a big deal, but I think the nurses on the site might appreciate it if you did. You can change your account name at https://careervillage.org/settings/account (3) When someone answers your question, we'll email you the answer, so you should make sure that your email address is up to date. The first email we sent you got bounced, so maybe you made a mistake putting in your email address.
