Hi Shashikala,
After 10th i.e. SSC, you need to focus on MPC (Maths, Physics, Chemistry) in your intermediate college (11th/12th) You could then opt to either do engineering (computer science, IT, CSIT (combination) or if you do ECE/EEE supplement this with courses outside school focusing on programming) or opt for 3+2 degrees focusing on computers and math. The route will be harder with the 3+2 degree, although you can get a job with a 3yr degree, for further advancements an engineering or 3+2 would be preferred. You should also think about what interests you as a software engineer since not all software engineers are coders. Some install/upgrade/maintain the systems and some focus on other aspects of software support. Hence, although you can start learning to code - think about whether that interests you as well. Hope this helps
