Hello Jyothi,

It is really good that you have decided what you want to do in future. The Teaching is a noble profession since past many years.

To become a teacher the basic requirement is bachelor's degree. First complete your graduation and apply in any institute for your interested subject.

The CBSE ro government also conducts various exams for the selection of teachers for primary or secondary schools.

If you want to become a lecturer at university level, then try the UGC NET Exam. UGC NET is a national level exam which is conducted for the assistant professor at the university or colleges and for JRF awards.

You must have the post graduation to become eligible for the lecturer.

Hope it will help you to know a little about the teaching profession.

All the best for the future ahead!!
