The answer to this question isn’t easy. You can go to a private or technical school, a community college, or a university. Nursing programs all over the country are HIGHLY competitive, and it’s harder to get into a community college program because of the lower costs. Private and technical schools tend to have university prices, but are generally a bit easier to get into. University programs are almost always 4 year BSN programs, so if you just want to do your RN this could be an issue. It is usually costly as well.
I decided to go the technical school after getting waitlisted at my local community college. I’m in some debt because of it but I’m hopeful with my new income as a nurse I’ll be able to pay it off soon. My suggestion is to call all the schools you are interested and schedule a tour, or inquire about their open houses.

Below are some of the best colleges to attend for nursing, however some of your local community colleges that specialize in nursing are just as good and a lot cheaper. If you want to stay local reach out to those colleges and ask about their nursing programs. I attended a local community college for nursing and did very well and got licensed.

Hello. I am a Family Nurse Practitioner. I attended Clemson University for Nursing . Came back to Atlanta, - my home and worked my 1st Nursing job at Emory University.
Any school for Nursing is good. You can google the school's graduation rate in Nursing and see how many get hired. what schools are you looking at?
Also, please remember in these days and times, it's not the school degree that matters, it's what you do while in school and what you do with that Nursing degree after school.
Clemson University
Emory
Georgia State
Mercer University
Depends on where you want to go to obtain your BSN.
