Philomena’s Answer

Tho I’m not located in your area, I will advise that you do not only look at the top universities that offer medicine. I am a graduate medical student and it took three years to get into medical school because I kept applying to one university for medicine and I was not accepted, I then applied to another university whose standard was not like the previous school I applied to and had admission there. Once is an accredited medical school you can apply. Avoid schools were most people apply to.

Karen’s Answer

Hi Robert,

Your choice of school will depend on what career track you'd like to follow. For instance, at BCC you can pursue an education in Nursing, Health Sciences, Allied Health, among other programs. A lot of colleges provide you with the opportunity to take free college courses while you are a student in high school so make sure to check that out.

Below are the links to the programs I mentioned. -Karen R.L.

David’s Answer

I would recommend College and Universities in the Boston Area such as Boston U, UMass, Harvard U, Tufts U, Boylston U, and etc., these are like the Top 5 Med school in Mass. as I know and have family member who is attending or graduated from as well they say it was a competition for them to get into, you can also google online for more detail about these school or school you would be interested in your area or want to apply for. But for my family who are in Mass. these are the school they would recommend and are attending as the moment.

Richard’s Answer

Pick a college that suits your personality and a major that interests you. You will need to get good grades in college in order to apply for medical school. At the medical school I attended, the average GPA is reported to be 3.85, so even one or two B's can hurt your chances of acceptance.
