Should I take a CNA class in high school to have some knowledge about the Nursing field since I wish to be a nurse.

I'm a high school junior and have not decided whether or not I want to take the CNA course. #doctor #nurse #registered-nurses

Dear Jessamine- What a great idea to take a CNA Class! I think this is a wonderful idea because when you become a nurse you will have a better understanding for the CNA role- If you then work some as a CNA while going to school, you will have patient care exposure and understand more about patient care. While in nursing school you will get more education about the pathophysiology involved will different illnesses- but much of the basics of caring for PEOPLE can be understood from the CNA. I wish you the best of luck in your future!
