Hi Kasey,
To further add on the earlier answers, you could also refer to the Robert Half Salary Guide published annually at the following link: https://www.roberthalf.com/salary-guide/accounting-and-finance. It is a great resource that provides average salary data regarding different job titles within accounting and finance.

A good source for this is https://www.bls.gov/oes/current/oes132011.htm as well as glassdoor, as mentioned above. Salary can vary based on company as well as region.
Good luck!

average starting pay is about $55,000 to $60,000 salaried in public accounting. This doesn't include bonus or other benefits. Salary range can go up to $150,000 mid-career. It depends on what area of accounting you go into. Salary websites like glassdoor.com are also helpful to give you a better range and the types of positions available. Hope this helps!
