For being interested and excited about Maths, you can start by having a teacher who teaches with enthusiasm and with a lot of interest in Maths. That kind of teacher can be found on YouTube and various other websites like Coursera, edX, Udemy, etc.

Practice, practice, practice!! But more importantly, try to relate the concepts to real-life applications as that will bring more appreciation and will inspire you to learn even more :)
