After receiving my double bachelor's degree, how can I stand out when applying for teaching positions?

I plan to major in Human Development and Family Science through North Dakota State University, as well as Elementary Education through Valley City State University. I have also considered possibly minoring in Special Education, would this be wise? #elementary-education

I used to be a special education teacher and I think this is a great career move as they are definitely needed. As far as getting a job, here is a link to the states that are best to work in as teachers. https://wallethub.com/edu/best-and-worst-states-for-teachers/7159/ If you are willing to relocate then you might have tons of options. If not, then try meeting with other teachers and getting their advice. This website might allow you to meet up with teachers and find some resources for you: http://www.scholastic.com/teachers/article/25-best-websites-teachers.

Hope that helps!!
