Hi Skyler,


Glad to see you're interested in such a great and growing profession! As an Athletic Trainer, you're day to day role may vary greatly based on the setting you pursue. In the traditional setting, working with a sports team, may that be middle/high school, college/university, or professional/Olympic, your goal is to maintain the health of each of your athletes/patients through injury prevention, evaluation and diagnosis of athletic injuries, emergency care, treatment, rehabilitation, organization and administration, and professional development.


There are other settings that change you're day to day responsibilities like the physician practice setting, military, performing arts, public safety, or occupational health.
