Hi Ester!
I'd recommend asking yourself what it is you want to do if you do not go into law, and what degree you would need for that. Then determine if that degree will help you get into law school. Law Schools accept many different degrees, and, depending on the type of law you want to practice, a degree other than political science would be a better choice. For example, if you want to practice corporate law, a business degree would help. If it is medical malpractice, sciences would come in handy. Right now, you are trying to select an alternate career path based on a degree.
As to what you can do with Political Science, honestly, a lot of people look down on that, Sociology, Psychology, Communications, and similar degrees. However, there are also many jobs that simply want a degree, and are not particular as to what it is. You could go into something like Urban Planning, International Relations, law enforcement, or any of numerous government positions. You could also be a military officer. If pay is a factor, realize that entry level salaries for government jobs are not nearly as high as private sector jobs.
It is good that you are considering an alternate plan at this stage. Best of luck to you!
