Estelle’s Answer

Medical School is 4 more years, then residency is usually 3-4 years but can be more. So after graduating college, it will probably take at least 8 more years of education.

Dan’s Answer

Medical school is 4 years, but you'll most likely need to do a residency as a vast majority of us do. That is a minimal of 3 years after, some can last up to 7, on average 3-4 years after medical school. You will get paid as you train to become an expert in your field but you will not get paid much. This does not count the 4 years of undergraduate.

Hope that helps.

Riley’s Answer

This does depend on what type of doctor you want to be. However, the standard schedule requires 4 years of undergraduate school, 4 years of medical school, followed by about 3-7 years of completing a residency to earn experience.

Arshia’s Answer

Medical school is generally 4 years in the U.S. If you want to practice medicine, you will have to match with a residency program, which will take another 3 years. You may do additional training by doing a fellowship post residency.
