How do you find out what career will fit you best?
I am asking this question because I want to be sure I know exactly what field I would fit best in and I don't want to waste any time in school studying for one career meanwhile, the one for me is something else. I am just wondering if there are any tips or advice I could receive to help me in deciding!
Thank you. #college #professor

Hi Annelise,
The first two answers give excellent direction. After you have considered these suggestions, I would STRONGLY suggest shadowing a professional in a few career fields of interest to you. This will give you an idea of what a "day-in-the-life" of this occupation may entail.
By shadowing professionals, not only are you learning more about those fields, you are networking with professionals who may be able to offer you further insight on additional career options for you.

Hello, Annelise!!
This is a great question! My advice to you would be to first think about where your passion lies. Helping people? Helping animals? Working with computers? Think about this and then do some research into the careers you could pursue. Sometimes careers can overlap and don't worry... if you are taking classes and find you REALLY hate them, change your major!
Good luck to you🙂🙂
