Alyssa’s Answer

Hi Rosie, a lot of large universities will offer both of those degrees.

I personally attended a small university, Lake Superior State University, that has an amazing Criminal Justice program with opportunities to minor in Theater.

Hi Rosie,

Great question! There may be a bunch of schools that offer these degrees. One tool I would suggest you check out: collegevine.com
Once you create a login, the website allows you to search for schools that meet your interests and needs -- whether that's degree, location, in-state vs. out-of-state tuition, size of school, or more. That way, if there are other degrees you want to explore beyond dance and criminal justice, you can find the right match.

Best of luck with your college search!

Paula’s Answer

Hi Rosie - Typically big Universities offer a broad set of degrees. I'm a Business Manager and Marketer now, but my first career was in classical ballet. Regarding dance degrees, you will NOT need a degree in dance to pursue a career in dance as a performer or a teacher. The only exception is if you wish to teach and program dance at a college or University. For selecting schools, my recommendation is to prioritize the law degree while continuing to train in dance, since most schools have dance programs. I hope this helps!
