Being a physical therapist can be very stressful, so can being anything else. It is hard to get away from stress in the workplace. A wish to help people, an interest in people, curiosity, friendliness, patience, a hobby, ability to both think independently and do what you are told, enjoying working with colleagues, are some of the qualities that might be useful. A job that is gratifying, that makes you feel helpful, that fulfills many of your needs and wishes, can make up for the inevitable stresses. Vacations are also helpful for dealing with on-the-job stress.
I found PT school to be very stressful. Don't worry too much in advance about the stresses. You will deal with them as they arise.
