In college you should take a variety of classes but there are some that are a prerequisit for MCAT (med school admission test). If you haven't taken these classes during your four years in college then you cannot do well on the test. If you are a science major then the classes are going to be part of your required classes. If you major in something outside of the sciences, like history or english, then you have to make sure you take these prerequisite classes. Biology, Chemistry, Organic Chemistry and Physics are a must. Biochemistry is a good idea because you will have to do it in medical school and if you have never seen it before then you will struggle. It is a long road but worthwhile. You will have some tough tests but you are preparing yourself to be able to save someone's life! The reward outweighs the difficulty of the task. You will not ever regret it.
