I am going to College for Sports Management, and playing Volleyball for a division School ,but also want to give back to the community. What programs can I look into to achieve that goal?

I have always been athletic, and as I found my niche for what sport I wanted to focus on, I had gone through many coaches and many have not only helped me athletically, but also cared about the person I am. If i had some difficulty they were there to lend a helping hand, even if it was advice on Schoolwork, behavior, attitude, or just listening. I want to give back to the community as these coaches have had an influence on my sports career, I would like to do the same for other kids #athletics #coaching #coach

Hi Nicholas,

There are couple of ways to give back to your community and at the same time gain other benefits. You could look into volunteering your time coaching high school or college volleyball. As an assistant coach, you would not get paid but would give back and would be exposed first hand at sports management. Another possible opportunity is to look at your neighborhood , vicinity or online for youth organizations that could benefit from starting up a sports team (volley ball) and volunteer your time and skills.

Is admirable that you are interested in how you can get back. It can be as simple as signing up to give advice on this very platform that you are seeking advice from yourself. I think the willingness to give of your time freely to the community is a gift in and of itself.
