What would a daily schedule mostly likely be like for an Electrical Engineer?

I am currently a high school senior who will be graduating June 5, 2016. I will be attending Baker College this fall. I would like to know what a typical schedule would be like for an Electrical Engineer so that I may adjust myself as such. #electrical-engineering #electrical-engineer

Thank you comment icon There will be a multitude of choices readily available for you. My educational background is in Electrical Engineering, which I studied at University. However, I currently hold a position as a software engineer. Therefore, your career path is truly in your hands. It all depends on what you genuinely enjoy and what sparks your interest. Jas Gh

Poojan’s Answer

Electrical Engineering is, I believe, the broadest and the most vast field when compared with other engineering majors. Since it is so closely related to Computer Engineering, my classmates from college are currently working at various positions such as Tech Analyst at a bank, Data Scientist, FPGA developer, Circuit Design Engineer, Telecom engineer etc.

Depending on which position you choose, there will be subtle changes but from my experience, I can tell you is that you will be applying some (if not all) aspects of electrical engineering at work. At a baseline level, almost all the electrical engineering jobs will require you to be technical and will expect you to have a problem-solver attitude.
