Any job as a matter of fact is stressful until you find out your interest for that job. If you join a job of your interest you won't find it difficult or you won't feel stressed out. However as stated by Steven it is very important to know when to say no to keep a work life balance. If you keep yourself and your family happy you will soon enjoy your job as well. So work life balance is very important and off course the passion towards your job will keep you motivated so that you won't feel any pressure.

I agree with Andrea. Any career can be stressful depending on how you approach the job. I believe it is important to find an employer that allows for a healthy work/life balance. As you start your career, you will probably be asked to take on many task and projects, but it is important to know when to say no. This can be difficult when first starting out, but I've found that most managers are very welcoming of hearing how you are handling your workload. Manager and/or mentors can help finding the workload that works best for you.

All careers can be stressful or not stressful. It depends on a lot of things. How passionate and interested are you in the field? I've found that if you stay genuinely curious about the field you're working in, then some of the "stress" turns out to feel like excitement and high energy. It also depends on the role you take as an electrical engineer. The jobs available for electrical engineers have a lot of variety. Also, there's always things you can do to mediate stress. It depends on what personally calms you down. Exercise, cooking, hobbies, etc. can all be good outlets to ensure you don't get too overwhelmed.
