Hi Leila! That's a great question! I see from your profile that you live in Astana. Typically NASA only hires U.S. citizens to work. If you are not a U.S. citizen I recommend looking into the space agency for your country. If you are eligible to work for NASA, one avenue to consider is an internship. An internship can be a way for college students to get their foot in the door at various government agencies. NASA just posted a long webinar on Youtube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b-eQl0XnWWo&feature=youtu.be) that discusses their Agency Pathways Internship. Please explore the careers section of NASA.gov (https://www.nasa.gov/careers/working-with-nasa) for more information. They even have specific pages for what it is like for engineers (https://www.nasa.gov/careers/engineering). I recommend exploring the NASA website. The way to get a job is to apply for an open position through USAJobs.com. That site also has information on pathways for recent graduates.

The requirements to EVERY US GOvernement job are on usajobs.gov.
NASA is on its way OUT of Business, so better to look at what Virgin Gallactic & Telsa are doing in space travel. That's where the jobs will be .
