What part of the electrical field are you interested in? A good friend of mine owns an LLC in South Florida and is looking for interns, apprentices, and people with experience to join him in his projects if they can get certified in Florida.
Also, My uncle is works for the electric company in Connecticut. Both of these two people do two very different jobs.

What area or part of the electrical field are you interested in? Because becoming an electrician or electrician field does take some times as well as work to obtain certification for the area you want to be in, because if you are trying to make the money and do less that will be the upper level which may takes years to reach to but like most people does start from the bottom and move your way up by experiences and certification. Best place to find these information well be at professional training school and move on from there.
