Patreon and GoFundme. But it's important to raise awareness, so you would start a fundraiser on those platforms then spread the word using social media like Facebook/Instagram/YouTube.

Great Question! The best way to fundraise now is the internet of course. Social media, especially during a pandemic, has seen it's greatest numbers ever due to everything going on. Putting the reason behind the fundraiser out on social media (unless something super personal) is the best way to go, people love to rally behind a good cause. During tis time, people are spending and giving money like crazy, this is a great time to put your cause out there ! Making a video or going (live) has been efficient for so many others, Tik Tok is doing a charity event a we speak and people are donating like crazy. Though things like Instagram, Facebook and Tik Tok are of course for fun, they are also all useful tools to get things you care about out to the world, just throw in some creativity and watch you peers rally behind you. The best of luck to you!

Zimrri’s Answer

Hi Paridhi,

For fundraising a couple of my friends and I have ran some successful fundraising events . Here are some suggestions:

1. Create a big event and charge for entrance. Examples: Dance, Career Fair, Game Night, Casino Night
2. Car wash
3. Partner up with local museums and restaurants
4. Have a bake sale
5. Ask local businesses for donations. Example: We asked a donut shop for donations and they have us 120 donuts for free for us to sell.
6. Professional Headshots (All you need is a camera and some photo editing skills)

Karen’s Answer

Consider a variety of ways to fundraise because people respond differently to various methods. Key is to get lots of folks involved in promoting your cause. I have found keeping it simple and short work best. Recruit volunteers through online websites to spend one minute each week posting copy you provide to their followers. Include bold or interesting photos in every post. Safe images can be found on Google images. Often what people see at first glance determines if they read your copy.

Use creative techniques or ask your volunteers or friends for their ideas. Send requests to local sports figures, celebrities, authors, musicians, business leaders and others who might be well known. You never know who might respond. Be specific in what you need from them -- a quote, $50, an autographed item, etc. Online auctions are popular now, especially if you have unique items or experiences.

Use emotional pleas. When you touch someone's heart, they often touch their credit card.

With every good wish!

Try Patreon, GoFundme, and/or Youtube. If it's for a good cause then start a Youtube channel and promote your nonprofit and include in the description a link to your Gofundme or Patreon.

Hi!

You can fundraise in various ways on social media. I have seen that bingo boards are a big way many organizations fundraise. Also, people like to raise through go fund me as well. You can have bake sales or have a dare board. This way the money is going to a good cause but there is also some incentive to donate,

Hi Paridhi,

A personal friend runs the platform Launchgood.com

https://www.launchgood.com/how-it-works

They offer the lowest fees of any of the major crowdfunding platforms, with a specific focus in the Muslim community. There’s a lot of repeat engagement by donors. You can always set up a consultation with them about your specific cause/campaign.
