Let's say I pursue an M.A. and want to get into a more prestigious university. What kinds of things do M.A. programs look for from applicants?

Hey mario,
There are a few things that prestigious schools look for:
1. High entrance exam scores (This would be equivalent to scoring in the 90th-percentile on the GRE)
2. Research history
3. Professional experience (if you have any industry experience you need to be able to leverage that to your benefit)
Hope this helps.
