Career wise, flight stewardesses get trained in meeting the needs of passenger flying to different destinations. Learning mannerism, smiling and making eye contact with passengers and doing all the inflight chores in disciplined manner, does transform you in a different person.
The airline will also teach you how to keep your thinking straight and use your training skills during abnormal or emergency situations.
On the top of it you get to see various destinations at the company's expense. It is truly a rewarding career but on the down side you could be doing overnight flight duties and long hours and stay away from home for few days. But I think it is not a bad bargain.
After few years of inflight duties, you could join the inflight service training department and fulfill your goal of teaching what learnt during your previous years.
Good luck

You might be able to do both. Most of the airlines do have opportunity for their "air hostess" to become Air Hostess Instructors. You might have to be an air hostess for a year or two to be able to meet the airline requirements to become an "in-flight" trainer. Most of the airlines require the "in-flight" personnel to go through yearly recurrent training and they are always looking for new personnel to hire and fill vacant slots.
