What are the prerequisites for the veterinary medicine program at Oregon State University?

My goal is to attend Oregon State University's veterinary school to become a veterinarian. In order to achieve this goal, I have been taking college classes during high school and want to know if there's any prerequisites that I could complete while I'm still in high school. We just completed forecasting for our next year's classes and I've been talking with my counselor about signing up for Writing 121 at Lane Community College this summer, so that I can receive my healthcare pathways certificate before I graduate. #college #college-major #veterinary #high-school-classes

It's best to check with the college program that your interested in regarding prerequisites because each college is different.

Greetings! You can check here: https://vetmed.oregonstate.edu/

Since you are applying for veterinary school in the future, it seems reasonable to do science classes (biology, chemistry). However, since each college is different, you may want to do research on Oregon State's website. You're also in high school, so you still have a long way to go.
