K.C.’s Answer

Find out what your county/state requires for teaching in public school. There are different requirements for different school districts. And there are also private schools and colleges which may or may not require an education degree for a teaching certification. Good luck!

Jordan’s Answer

I agree with previous answers. I wouldn't be surprised if you need to take drama and creative art courses. You may also need to take literature and writing courses. My high school English teacher ran the drama department which made perfect sense. I'm thinking you should speak with an academic advisor at Chapman to see if they offer education courses. An advisor should be able to answer specific questions.

Wilonda’s Answer

Teaching is a great profession. I would encourage taking business classes also in case you wanted to expand into owning your own studio or advancing within the teaching profession to an administrative level.
