Are those with just a bachelor's degree in Business as able to get jobs as those with a master's degree?
I am a college student planning on changing my major to Business but I have not decided which specific area to study. I am asking this question to see if working for a master's degree would be more beneficial for the student. #business #choosing-a-major

A Bachelor's in a good start and positions you well for entry-level roles in business, broadly defined. I am a strong advocate of getting a few years of professional experience before pursuing a Master's degree in just about any field.
As far as majors to consider, depending on what your interests and inclinations are, I would suggest you consider majors that will help you build a toolkit of quantitative, analytical skills. These include Finance and Accounting, but you can easily take such classes even if you choose to major in Marketing, for example. In a sense, I am less concerned about the major you choose and more concerned about your ability to problem solve, analyze and work with data, etc.

I have both a bachelors degree in business and an MBA (masters in business). I would say that the difficulty in finding a position was about the same after both degrees but that my earning power was a lot higher after I finished the masters.
