How can/has nursing benefited one in a positive/negative way?
As I prepare for college, knowing the ups and the downs to the medical field would be a great asset in my decision to pursue the career of my dreams. #nursing #nurse #registered-nurses #nurse-practitioner #nursing-education #icu-nurse #hospital #medicine #hospital-and-health-care

Positive: every day I get to go and do something I love.
Negative: horrible hours ( people get sick all the time 😉). This is not so bad for me as it is very difficult for my family as I'm gone a lot.

Positive: You can have a healthy work/life balance as there are many different shifts that you can choose.
As you progress in your career, you may decide to take a management position which is typically Mon-Fri with no holidays and weekends.
It is a very rewarding job personally and professionally,
If you like people in general, you will love nursing,
Negative: Usually it is just the politics related to the organization that you may work at. Sometimes it is people. You learn to adapt.
