Frank’s Answer

hello,

generally 4 years of dental school then apply for 3 years of orthodontic program. There may be accelerated program out there where you finish sooner. UOP is a 3 year dental program. Many dentists practice for a few years as general dentist before applying to orthodontic program and that adds more years.
