May’s Answer

it would be useful if you get connected to such platforms as linked-in and any reputable recruitment/ job sites in your country.

within those you have access to apply jobs you are interested in and it’s convenient and easy.

but of course you will need to establish you resume, perhaps a cover letter specific to the role you are interested in and be prepared for next steps like interview sessions and so forth

good luck, it’s not hard just takes some research and preparation

Michael’s Answer

One of the first steps in applying for a job is to get organized.
Start with a resume and have someone look it over to ensure that the information is correct and no grammatic errors exists.
Collect job listings from the newspapers, the internet, and friend.
Apply for jobs that fit your resume and make a custom cover page for each application.

These small steps can make a big difference when finding a new job. The setup to a job interview can be just as important as the interview itself.
A good resume, job source, and custom cover page can separate individuals from the pack when employers are looking for candidates.

Taylor’s Answer

Hey Payton! Great question!

There's many ways to apply for the job but generally, every single one will require:

1.) A resume
2.) An interview
3.) Followup emails

Might involved:
1.) Cover letters
2.) Multiple rounds of interviews and flying/driving out to interview in person
3.) Networking lunches/dinners

Depending on the position and the size of the company, many companies have different processes. I've had job vetting periods that have lasted over 3 interviews and others that only needed 1. It just varies. The first step is to write your resume. You can find some templates online to get an idea of what its suppose to look like. Interviewing is a lot tougher to master since it just requires practice. I would Google search on how to interview and look on Glassdoor for the company you are interviewing for to get some sample questions.

There are some job boards you can apply for (like Indeed.com) but the best way to apply is through your school job board or a referral from a friend within the company.

Good luck!
