An excellent question! First, you would likely need to be a citizen of a country that has a parliamentary system of government (e.g., Canada, United Kingdom). Then, as the adage goes - hard work 'tis but the fuel of success - author unknown. Unless you are born into some political ruling class or privileged family, you'll likely want to begin working from the bottom up. Run for city council, town council, mayor, etc. Then, as you establish name recognition, continue moving up, building a network of supporters and colleagues. As this grows, so will your financial resources to mount more competitive campaigns for higher office. Remember, keep your reputation and personal life squeaky clean. The political lives of great politicians have been ruined by personal scandals. If you do this, you can be assured your chances of becoming prime minister will greatly increase! Happy to further discuss additional questions.
