What does a typical week look like in the nursing program?
It is the major I would like to pursue. I want some background information on how everything works before I tackle it. #medicine #nursing #nurse #healthcare #hospital-and-health-care

Once you are doing clinicals that is usually 2 days a week, lecture 2 days a week and one day for written tests and skills lab tests.

It depends on what part of the program you are in. During the first year, you are doing most of your time in class and not really at the hospital and slowly over that program it switches so by the end of the program you spend most of your time at the hospital and only time a little in class. During the times that you have clinical and class (like Med-Surg Nursing 1&2), you may have 1-2 days per week (8 or 12 hours each day) in the hospital and 2 days in lecture. During this time, my clinicals were 6:45am to 7pm twice per week and my program grouped our lectures so it was usually 9am-4pm on the 2 days we had class.
