I am going to school for Nursing but what should I be minoring in?

Do to the economy in the Midwest I understand that I might have to be more diverse in my training to be the most marketable during a downsizing. #nursing

In my opinion, I do not see it as necessary at all. Plus, nursing school is very hard and once you are in a nursing program, you are not taking classes in addition to your nursing classes. You COULD minor in (if you are in the US) Spanish, that could make you more marketable. That is the only advice I have. Hospitals don't care about your base knowledge in History, Psychology, etc since it will not make someone a better contributor to their hospital workforce. That is my opinion.
