the job market for environmental studies is getting better and better globally as the environment continues to be a major issue. You would be smart to do some sort of internship in the area while you are in school. It will give you a leg up in the job market!

As an Environmental Studies major with a handful of ENVS friends, I've observed that half have gone into environmental work - education, conservation, env management - while the other half have gone down other routes. Industries like tech, leveraging the cross-disciplinary nature of the degree to work in marketing, program, people ops (recruiting, HR, etc.), nursing, and more!
