Does it cost more to go to an out of state college than in state college?

Typically, out-of-state schools will be more expensive if they are a public school. For private schools, there is usually no difference between in-state and out-of-state.

Personally, I think in-state colleges are cheaper but out-state colleges are more expensive unless you have a grant or scholarship.
