Hi Kayla,
Biomedical engineering as a major is quite interesting, because depending on your school, a lot of the cohort actually take this as a pre-med major. This was my major in college, and most of my friends ended up as doctors (I stayed as an engineer, though not in the biomedical field). It has a reputation for being a 'jack-of-all-trades-master-of-none', and gives you the opportunity to specialize in different areas (electrical/mechanical/etc). Wael's link is helpful in looking at the numbers and statistics, but your choice is one that will give you a fair amount of flexibility in studying the broad sciences and specializing later.
Cheers
