Rodolfo’s Answer

Finance jobs are very rewarding if you are numbers oriented. All companies need people who are good at crunching numbers and analyzing data. It is a very good career path in many corporations. You should study accounting and become a CPA if you are serious about a finance career.

Melyni’s Answer

There are multiple career paths in Finance/Accounting so there can be different types of work. You can bee in investing and deal with investments and the stock market. You can be an accountant and help a company keep their financial books in order. You can be in banking and work at a bank in various roles. You can be a tax preparer and do tax returns and help taxpayers go through audit and IRS inquires. You can be a financial planner and help people to get their personal finances in order.

It is a very good career path to explore and can lead to a good income/salary. It can also be a gateway to other positions or career paths that may not considered finance/accounting. You can do some research and decide which type of finance careers interest you the most and start planning how to achieve that goal.
