Hello Rajat,
Firstly I appreciate your interest in Ethical Hacking, but it is a tough road ahead if you want to achieve CEH.
As other have already suggested CEH requires a person to be fully trained into a lot of different areas of Computer Science like Operating Systems, Networking, Hardware, Programming Languages etc.
So even if you are a commerce student it doesn't really matter, you can pursue CEH if you really have passion for it.
I wish you good luck.

Though there are no prerequisites to take up and learn ethical hacking. If you have basic knowledge of networking, server, and programming languages, you can start to become the ethical hacker. To learn you can take up courses, invest time and money. CEH is rated as one of the hardest exams in the IT world. A four-hour long affair that costs $950 or more.
Mathematics is the base of all Engineering and Sciences and hence a good knowledge of it as well as problem solving skills are required. Combinatorics and number theory are very much important while calculus, algebra and geometry may also be needed. But on a professional level you will competing with engineers and computer professionals. Logic,Algorithms and Architecture will purely have Math base. The creators will use it to create security,Without Math it will be very challenging and highly impractical.

Hello Rajat,
What a great question. This is not my area of expertise. However, here is some helpful information some of my AT&T colleagues shared. I hope you find this helpful.
"CEH, or Certified Ethical Hacker is a fairly difficult course and exam, even for people with cybersecurity knowledge, but doable. Fundamentals of TCP/IP, networking, cyber security fundamentals such as encryption, software security flaws, etc are assumed, going into the course. It is also a very expensive cert to get (over $1000 U.S.A. exam fee. Classes are extra.
You might consider the A+, Net+, Security+, Pentest + route. This will help with fundamentals.
Additionally - The CEH (ANSI) program require a candidate to have two years of work experience in the Information Security domain and should be able to provide a proof of the same."
Best wishes for success to you in your career and educational goals!
