I would agree with the previous respondents that it would be wise to complete some research the various business related majors that your university offers as it is a broad field. General Business Administration disciplines may be beneficial in many different fields you choose to pursue. And take the time enjoy your university experience. I have had the pleasure in my career of working with many brilliant colleagues who majored in fields that are quite different than their chosen career path.

You should sit and take some time, breathe slow and relax, then analyze what do you like and what would you like for a job after you graduate. That will help you decide what to study in College. Try to avoid wasting time, money and effort a couple of years to end up changing majors that may impact a good amount of subjects not valid for the change, and that will push your objective back maybe a whole year
Business is a very broad field, but neurology is more precise and exact, so they are not 100% compatible, even when they link in some aspects.
Think very carefully before deciding.

Hi Johan,

Good question. If you're worried that you may not like neurology after a while, it may help to minor in business. But before you get that far, it may be best to speak with the deans or counselors of both medical and business departments your freshman year. Talk to them and get a good feel for what will be required of you before you select your major and then make your decision. I think the courses will be rigorous no matter which major you choose, but at least you'll have a better feel for what you like best. I'd also ask the professors or deans if it's okay to sit in on a class or two during freshman year. That may help your decision.

Good luck.
