What is a good university to attend so I can study medical school?

Almost any premed program will give you the background to attend medical school. You will need to have good grades, good recommendations and possibly active extracurricular activities. You do not have to attend Harvard, Yale or Northwestern to become a good doctor. You do have to have an aptitude and zest to learn. Once out of school a good residency is key to training you to be a good physician.

I chose state university for college and medical school to save money.
If you want to pursue a research career in academic medicine you might consider an elite private school like Harvard, Johns Hopkins or Stanford.
