Subscriptions to nursing publications sometimes depend on your specialty area, for example, I currently subscribe to AORN Journal and Outpatient Surgery Magazine, AAACN, and ASPAN via my memberships for my specialty practice area (these all send their specialty journals included with memberships) and ANA (via my state nurse's organization [e.g., Colorado Nurses' Association, Wisconsin Nurse's Assosciation].
In addition, I also subscribe to American Nurse Today and Sigma Theta Tau.
I also subscribed to certain websites to receive publications (not journals) and updates to stay in-the-know and to keep up-to-date with my job requirements from CDC, TJC, AHRQ, AACN, ISMP, UCAOA, ASPEN, Becker's Clinical Leadership, and Infection Control. These may change based on the job you are currently doing, job requirements, current interests, current state or global health issues (e.g., COVID-19), competitor products, school research or requirements,
If you are currently enrolled in nursing school, then I would suggest signing up with your state nurse's organization and ANA (there is a student version pricing option) and not worry about others until you become employed as this will not become important until you know what to do with the information and it may be overwhelming.
