If I understand your request properly there are similarities in business and marketing, doctors are very different. I have a daugther who is a Dr. so I can give you my observation answer of her situation. Her biggest challenge is learning and understanding a large quantity of complex information for her job. This work needs to be done outside of the time she spends in the hospital treating patients. Secondarily it is a job that demands a great deal of time. She loves it, and you need to love it to go into it because of these demands, but it is very rewarding.

Business and Marketing are broad terms but do have highly related challenges, there are many, but maybe the most significant challenge a business person faces is identifying a product or service that a customer would like to purchase from you and then hiring and organizing good people to execute a plan to deliver that product. Marketing people are a very important part of that business challenge. Marketing people usually have the specific objective to define a message and activities to identify prospective customers, find ways to communicate to these prospects and then execute those programs. Usually the biggest challenge Marketing people face is developing a message and approach that can seperate the company's product from a large group of competitors and then finding methods to find and reach out to prospective customers. It is not easy but a very interesting and stimulating challenge. Good luck!
