Definitely! As Yousuf said, it is the exact purpose of an industry conference.
It's a great way to:
- showcase your company's advancements.
- getting sales leads.
- launch a new product.
- build your brand.
- build new relationships with peers outside your company and expand your horizon.

Unless you or your company has paid to be there and has a presence at the event / conference, you are going for the purpose of networking.
This is the true reason people attend conferences, to meet others and learn what works for other people.
So it really depends on why you are there, if your company has a presence, then you can represent them at a booth and just answer questions. If you don't know the answer, get their contact information and send them the answer later - that's considered a warm lead for your company. If you are simply attending a conference, learn from others, and try to ask questions to those you have a common interest with.

Yes, absolutely! Representing your organization is a great way to stand-out and prove to your leadership that you're motivated. My advice is to ASK your boss/manager to attend and be a part of industry events. Attending industry events is a great way to network as well!

Hi, Jessica
Depending on the conference, a booth and presence at a conference is an expensive investment. This not only includes the booth but also the people who travel to attend the conference and to network with clients and colleagues. Generally, the people at the booth tend to be client engagement/account, marketing, or product development (if a new product is revealed). This is, again, depending on the conference (I would like to stress this). If you are interested in a career where you can attend industry conferences and work at the company booth, you may want to consider careers in client engagement or marketing.
