What would you change about the health care system if you could?

I am wondering what people think about the system now and if they would change anything to improve it or not. #healthcare

I would make the Insurance equal across the board, everyone pays the same copay, same premiums. those that can't, can get a subsidy similar to Obama care, but they get the same coverage as those that work for a large corporation. You may ask why? Well, if everyone has the same access to Healthcare, people wouldn't wait until absolute necessary to use their insurance (deductible at 0%) this puts a strain on the system. Pre care of an issue is much better to nip the problem than let it exacerbate!

I would like to see all health records electronic and available to all health care entities. For example, if you see a Family Practice physician, you have your health record in their system. If you then go on to see a specialist such as a Urologist or Cardiologist for instance, that Specialist should have access to your healthcare records, regardless to where or what system you saw the Family Practice physician. I see a lot of redundant tests and treatments and this burden to insurance companies, Medicare, Medicaid or people that self pay, would be eliminated. I know that most referral paperwork include results for tests and treatments, but only initially, not after that point. If I have an appointment with the 2 specialists in the example at year 3, say just a couple of weeks apart, there is no need for redundant tests and treatment.
