Richard’s Answer

As with many professions, the best way to know if you should attend a certain type of school is to shadow those who have gone. See if you are passionate about beauty school after following those who work in this type of career for a few days. If you become bored after a few days, you probably should not pursue this type of job in the long run. On the other hand, if you enjoy watching them, you know you may want to pursue it further.

If you do not have the opportunity to shadow someone who has gone to beauty school, the next best thing is getting into contact with someone who has gone and having a conversation with them to talk about the pros/cons.

As far as the experience of being in beauty school, you should look onto each school's website to see what going to each school entails. Talking to current students, if possible, is also a great way to investigate this possibility for your future.
