Would working as a CNA during college improve my chances of getting into medical school?

I have a nursing assistant certification and would like to work during college. I know this is good experience, but would it make any difference in getting into medical school? #college #medicine #nursing #medical-school

Andredell’s Answer

Hi,
I was a Nurse before becoming a Doctor and I definitely think any experience in the medical field is a plus. It really gives you insight and experience. And, although no one can say with any certainty it would definitely let the ones reviewing you know you are serious about the medical field. I believe Nursing gave me an advantage. Best of luck!
