With a math degree, there are lots of opportunities out there that do not require you having any tech background. Finance, consulting, investing, even teaching are all areas that a math degree would be very useful in. There is also the opportunity to go back to school to earn a certificate, if you wish to build upon your skill set.

Hi Yu,
A Mathematics graduate has plenty of job roles they can explore, such as roles in Finance, Investment/Corporate Banking and Consulting. I believe you have built up skills including analytical skills, problem solving skills and critical thinking that are certainly transferrable and useful in these industries. You can even combine your skillsets with your personal interests. If let’s say you are interested in technology, you can definitely look into taking up an industry specialisation in tech for a consulting/banking role. Hope this helps!
