Hi Jessica, according to the most recent (2016-2017) workforce data from the American Physical Therapy Association, 69.7% of physical therapists in the US are women.

Yes slightly I'm general more women are on the field. From my experience it depends on the specialty that you work in and the state. Where I lived, in pediatrics and geriatrics you see more women. In acute care, out pt or sports therapy you see more men. In home care and management is almost equally even iin gender.
