Are there any scholarship, besides the Grand Pell scholarship, that can help me pay my studies, without the use of a student loans?

I am sophomore student at my college in Puerto Rico and I can't find a job to cover my college expenses. I'm planning to enroll in Medical school after I finish my bio-medical science baccalaureate degree and I don't want to start using student loans now, so I can use them in Med school. #doctor #doctorate-degree #medical-student

Kelly’s Answer

I achieved this by discovering a company that completely funds educational costs! This enables you to gain work experience without having to invest countless unpaid hours into scholarships and grants, which you may not even get. Numerous large corporations are willing to cover the full cost or a part of it, based on factors like your employment duration or the major you're pursuing.

Hi Caroline,
If you are still looking to pursue further studies and need financial assistance, there are lots of organizations that offer grants that can help. For example, if you are involved in volunteer work, you may be able to apply to one of these:

BoardVitals also published a list of scholarship opportunities this year that are specific to medical students:

Eric’s Answer

There are local community opportunities provided by service clubs (e.g., Rotary International) as well as merit scholarships and need based grants given by the college that you will attend.
