If i wanted to become a dance teacher, would theater be the right major for me?

I need to know what major would be best to go into if I was to become one. #college-majors

One thing I would recommend here is reaching out to your dance teachers now to see what they did. You can also volunteer at places and get to know people to build your credibility. At the end of the day, this is a field that is learned best hands on.

Many universities offer a Dance major, but if yours does not Theater would probably be the closest relevant major. You might also consider minoring in Business.
